Social media can not only connect us with other people in the world, but also change the human brain and form new social relationships. According to research, social media can not only amplify our emotions, but also affect our relationship in real life. The important driving force behind social media is the interaction between people and society, that is, the human brain is inherently social. Social media uses computers as a medium, which opens up new ways for people to contact, and also forces the brain to adapt to a new form of communication.
Compared with face-to-face communication, people are more direct and willing to reveal more information when communicating through social media, which makes it easier to reduce the uncertainty among people. In addition, before the advent of the Internet, group communication was often difficult. Now, the emergence of social media makes communication and cooperation between people easier.
The development of social media also provides an unprecedented global and local dialogue platform for communication. On the one hand, social media has dispelled the intermediary of traditional gatekeepers such as media and editors to a certain extent, and released the freedom and enthusiasm of public information release, which is inclusive. The production and sharing of public content may promote a more complex and diverse healthy discourse network; On the other hand, massive information may mean that it is beyond the control of the general public, and it is very difficult for the public to distinguish the value and authenticity of massive information (or information) by themselves.
Pluralistic and inclusive PLN can enable everyone who wants to be a communicator to express themselves freely, create an open and compatible platform, enable everyone to speak freely, and promote the exchange and collision of ideas. At the same time, he can better know the digital identity of individuals and transmit their influence.

Hi, Tengfei
Thank you for sharing a very detailed and interesting blog, after reading your blog I have very many new ideas. It turns out that social media not only connects people to other people in the world, but also changes the human brain and forms new social relationships, because not only does it open up new ways to connect with people and force the brain to adapt to new ways of communicating, which I think is very different, and I also very much agree with that statement. And the massive amount of information can make it difficult for the public to discern its authenticity and value, which is very much the same as my thoughts. I really liked how you explained, and I am wondering if you can tell me more about your own diversity about pln , that would be better.

Hello Tengfei,
I enjoyed reading the flow of your blog post. I think that the point you raised that massive information to the general public may lead to the general public not being in control of the information they consume can be argued on both side. Although I believe that this depends on what particular information you are referring to. I also wondered what your PLN looks like in respect to verified resources. are there platforms that you verify those large scale misinformations from?
Thank you for the insightful post.

Hi Shitengfei, I enjoy reading your blog, and I think there are something quite interesting to share and discuss. You mention the communication via social media is perhaps better than face to face communication. I found it interesting that you said the communication through social media can reduce the unnecessary contact with people that is not familiar with. Which in my opinion , it is a better selection on communication. However, I have a question is that can the communication through social media replace the face to face communication in the future? or communication via Multiverse, such as 3D, VR tech?

Hi Tengfie! Very interesting points you made in your blog. I agree with your points about the massive surge in interconnectedness within people all over the world thanks to social media.
individuals know more about other people now more than ever before in history, which can make people feel less alone. However, i believe it also damages some peoples sense of individuality, which is a significant part of confidence for people. Although its nice to feel like you belong, people like to have a feeling of uniqueness about them, social media can ruin that.
The part of your blog which i don’t agree with is the part about how social media minimizes uncertainties about other because people are more willing to share information online. I believe thats true when were talking about massive comment sections on certain platforms, but i think when i comes it small group or 1 on 1 interactions, uncertainty can be enhanced. It is much easier to pose as a different identity than you’re own on social media, heightening uncertainty about other individuals online.
