When students expand their professional learning network, they usually consider several aspects: about the choice of information processing and retrieval tools, in order to ensure that available information can be found quickly and reduce the interference of a large number of irrelevant information when searching on the network, it is necessary to choose appropriate information processing and retrieval tools, such as search engine and CD-ROM retrieval system. Only by choosing the right tools can disorderly information be ordered to avoid getting lost; Know what kind of information you need, strengthen your ability to process and judge information, know the uniqueness of your specialty, and look for information suitable for your use; Find their own suitable way to connect information processing and retrieval tools in series to form their own unique professional learning network; Looking for seniors or classmates worthy of learning in this major, knowing them well or getting close to them, and communicating with excellent people is often an important step in the effective establishment of one’s own learning network.
Human beings are entering the era of big data, and big data has brought many conveniences to all aspects of people’s lives. Thanks to the continuous development and breakthrough of modern information technologies such as cloud computing and Internet of Things, the application of big data has ushered in a spurt development in recent years, which has brought benefits to the economic and social development. The security of data will make more people dare to form their own learning system in richer forms, which is helpful to the establishment of personal learning network. However, everything is a double-edged sword, and the popularity of big data also brings the risk of privacy leakage. Privacy, as a basic right of modern people, is rapidly withdrawing from life, and incidents of infringement of privacy occur all the time. All kinds of online platforms collect massive information of users, and through big data analysis, people’s behaviors are amplified, and the scattered information is collected and processed, so that personal privacy data can be discovered relatively accurately. Traditional privacy protection laws and regulations can’t keep up with the development of technology, nor can they meet the needs of people to use data efficiently. After the arrival of the era of big data, this contradiction is intensifying. However, the insecurity of data privacy will hinder the effective establishment of personal learning network in all aspects.

Hi there!
Lovely V&R Map—I love the aesthetic. I see that you posted the map, but I do not see any reflection, and I had some questions!
I thought it was interesting that you put down google maps as one of the applications you use, and I was just wondering what made you think of Google maps and why you have placed the application where you did?
Further, I have also never heard of a WeChat before! So I was wondering why WeChat was put down twice on your visitor and resident map. Are there multiple functions for WeChat that you can use personally and professionally? I would love to know!
Lastly, I would love to hear your rationale for your placement of Gmail within your visitor and resident map, as I have placed my Gmail in the upper right quadrant.
Thank you, and I hope to hear back from you 🙂

Thanks for comment on my post, I put WeChat at the same time in the column of the personal and institutions, because I think there are Multiple functions of the social software, I can use this software to chat with friends, but also communicate with colleagues and leader, etc., so, for me, I think this as the multi-function software.(is more like combinations of text and email) and is very popular in China.
And I use Google map for personal purpose, so I don’t wanna other person could see my activity from this app, is more like self protection.

Hi Tengfeishi,
Thank you for sharing your map. It is very interesting to see other people’s perspectives. It is very interesting to see and a little surprise that you put Wechat in the Resident Institutional area because I consider Wechat is a very private space even though I use it to communicate with people who work with me. It is good to see you think this way but just keep in mind the privacy because you do not want to share everything through Wechat. Especially nowadays, we have to update personal banking information and ID on Wechat.
Furthermore, I agree with the point you make that data privacy has a double side. I mention that in my post as well like it is good to develop the social media platform and widely used around the world, but the data privacy is a very big issue that people’s information can be stolen to use for advertisement or other stuff.
